Experience 

Morris acts in a general counsel role for many of his clients, advising them how the law impacts their business operations. Morris’s practice focuses on business and tax, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, business succession planning, deferred compensation, qualified and non-qualified employee benefit plans, wealth preservation and estate planning. Morris advises professional businesses, such as doctors, physical therapists, dentists, and other professionals who are required to be licensed, how to structure their businesses. He also deals extensively in the negotiation and preparation of commercial real estate and equipment purchase and sales agreements and leases, and other business agreements.

Morris is a member of various bar associations. He has spoken to various professional and community groups about business entities, estate planning, trusts, estates, business succession planning, and deferred compensation. Morris has hosted a series of workshops for the College of Lake County aimed at teaching small business owners various legal aspects of forming business entities, maintaining those entities, and other issues facing business owners.
